MM iMuscat Services


As more and more mobile users are switching to the Smartphone platform, Muscat Municipality is sparing no effort to keep pace with the technological trend.

iMuscat is part of Muscat Municipality strategies and initiatives to provide citizens and residents a convenient way to access Muscat Municipality services. The main objectives of the mobile application are as follows:

Provide citizens with convenient ways to access Muscat Municipality services.
Enhance the communication with citizens and engage them into a two-way Communication.
For Muscat Municipality to collate statistics that will allow for better planning for future initiatives.
The iMuscat mobile application provides the following services:
  1. Parking: Provides an intuitive graphical interface to ease the use of the current SMS based mobile parking system.
  2. "Where I parked": helps users to retrieve their car location on a map after sending the parking request.
  3. Feedback: Enable residents of Muscat to send feedback and notes accompanied with a photo capture, their comments & the location/address of the note/issue. The Municipality will receive, analyze, attend and answer back the sent complains.
  4. Services: Allows Muscat residents to enter their Service Request (SR) number in order to retrieve the Service Request status.
  5. Profile: Provides the user login and contact information.

  4. What are the steps of activation iMuscat service?
    You just need to install the application in one of the following smart phones (iPhone, android) then use the application to register and use the services through graphical interface.
    • If you are using Apple iPhone or iTab or iTouch, then visit Apple iStore.
    • If you are using Android operating system on your mobile device, the visit Android Marketplace.
    • Click on “Install” to download and install this free app in your mobile device.
    • You can see an icon for this app on your desktop after successful installation.
