Article (10) It is not allowed to re-export any goods unless obtaining written prior permit from the Market Souq Management & the Quarantine , should pay fees of R.O 10/ to the market management on consideration of re-export of goods .

Article (11) It is banned for any company to sort out or repacking any goods inside the Souq unless it obtains permit from the Souq management .

Article (12) the trucks are allowed to be stopped in the Souq as follows :
  • For seven days for the cooled trucks accounted from the second day of entering the Souq .
  • Three days for un cooled trucks starting from the second day of entering the Souq .
  • For more than the above mentioned period there should be agreement between the trader & the driver , the trader should undertakes to pay daily amount of R.O 20/ for the driver of the cooled truck& R.O 10/ paid to the driver of the un cooled truck against delay of the driver .
Article (13) It is banned for any person to perform any action that bring harm / damage to the Souq management ., it banned to do any of these deeds :
  • Import directly or indirectly for banned vegetables .
  • Display or sale of the unauthorized imported vegetables directly or indirectly at the direct import locations .
  • Sale in passages , roads or at public squares inside the Souq .
  • Sale of damaged fruits & vegetables .
  • Not adhering to the working hours specifying by the municipality .
  • violation of the circulations and decisions issued by the municipality .
  • Throwing the leftovers and remains on the passages and squares inside the Souq .
  • Not caring for hygiene inside the shops , cold stores & vehicles parked at Souq .
  • Moving in the Souq at 11 .00 PM .
  • making noise , riots ,violating the public manner inside the Souq
  • Preventing or having objection with the municipality Officers to carry out their jobs .
Article (14) the Souq management has the right to issue decision for destruction of any spoiled goods not suitable for human consumption after co-ordination with the healthy authority should pay R.O 10/ on consideration of issuing destruction certificate .

Article (15) the Souq management inform the concern to remove any violation to the provision of this ordinance or any decision issued by Souq management for execution , should specify the grace period granted to remove or rectify the violation .

If the violator not response during the grace period , the Souq management has right to issue decision to prevent him from practicing his activity temporary not exceeding three days after the three days if the violation still valid , the Souq management has the right top remove the violation on the account of the violator and has the right to claim for any compensation for its damage .

Article (16) Any one prevent the concern Municipality officer to practice his duty will be punished by Oman penal laws .

Article (17) Any one violates this decision will be punished with the punishment stated in the local ordinance NO. ( 1/2001) regarding regulating Mawaleh Souq .
