After filling  the specified Form
  • Application  Form  for  commercial  sign board  permit
The  required documents
  • The  origin  permit  of  the activity or copy of  it  .
     
  • Sample  of  the  c. sign board  .
Submitted  to
  •   Place : municipal  permit   at  the  internal& financial department  at the directorates attached  to  Muscat Municipality .
  • Time  : from  8.00 A.M  up to  1.oo P.M 
 

 
  • The sign board will be checked ,regarding  the  size &  the  contents  .
  • The sample of  the sign board will be approved .
  •  After finishing  , the applicant  must provide the  municipality  concern  with (2) copies of  the   sign board .
  • The sign board  information will be  entered and  linked  with the  municipality permit . 

 The applicant  will be requested  to pay  the permit fees as  follows  :
Placing  lighted  sign board   on  frontal  of   shop   , including  the  commercial  name  &  the activity  only .  for  sign board  of area  3SQ.M    
  •   R.O   15
Notice board   on  the  main  road  ,  the advertisement  board , its  height must not exceed  (2)  Running meter ,and area  of  3  S.QM .
  • R.O 45
Commercial Sign board on shape  of  shed   of area  (3) SQM R.O. 1 for each  SQM
  • R.O 15
dvertisement  board on surface of  buildings  for each SQM  R.O 1
  • R.O 10
Advertisement for  foreign  product  placed  on  surfaces  of  buildings/ on frontal 
  • R.O  1500
Advertisement of  sign board  for  local /or  gulf product  on  building surfaces  or placed on  the  frontals  on  government land
  • R.O 350

After  paying  the  fees, permit   enclosures will be  prepared and attached  to   the  permit
