Rent Contracts
Application for amendment of rent contract
The applicant submits the application
After filling the specified Form
Rent contract form ( signed by the two parties)
The required documents
Original rent contract to be amended
ِApplication letter stating type of amendment
In case of amendment in the landlord details, a copy of the title deed + copy of the ID or an authorization for the representative of the landlord is required.
In case the amendment is addition of tenant, copy of the ID of the lessee to be added is required.
Submitted to
Place :Rent Contracts Department at the directorate as per the location of the property.
Time: 8:00am to 12:00 noon
The personnel concerned at the contracts department shall retrieve details of the original contract from the system to verify the details of the contract.
Details changed o be updated in the system.
In case of any change to the type of activity during amendment of the contract, the matter may require health or technical inspection (in case of activities that require inspection). The procedures followed in case of inspection for registration of the contract shall be followed in case of amendment of the contract.
in case of approval, the client has to pay the fees as follows:-
In case of change in type of activity at the time of taking lease , administrative fees shall be collected from the tenant ( lessee)

After payment, the personnel concerned at the municipality shall register the amendments and stamp the contract to the beneficiary..
