D. G. of Grand Muttrah
The Directorate of Grand Mutrah is the smallest in size among other Municipality Directorates yet has the highest density of population. The Directorate is, so to say, unique. It has the old traditional market which is famous for its narrow winding lanes. The buildings in Mutrah are rich in Islamic architecture. Mutrah also has the Sultan Qaboos Port, the Corniche, public parks and museums which are famous tourist attraction.
