D. G. of Quriyat
Quriya lies to the south-east of Muscat in the area extending between Al Amerat Municipality and the Wilayat of Sur. It is bordered on the east by the Gulf of Oman and on the west by the Wilayat of Dima and Wadi Al Tain. It has a surface area of 12000 square kms and a population of 3,882 according to the 1993 census, with 65 dependent villages in its territory.
