Muscat Municipality Organizes A Workshop On "The New In Microbiological Analyses"
A workshop, organized by the Department of Planning and Training was launched yesterday
morning in Muscat Municipality on "The New In Microbiological Analyses"
with the participation of members of the governmental and private organizations,
in the Lecture Hall, Annex (B) under the chairmanship of the municipality. the
workshop is conducted by Ms. Taghreed Mohammed Reda.
The three-day workshop aims introduce the health inspectors and workers in the
field of food and scientific laboratories to this new science, inform them
about the latest findings of knowledge and requirements and follow the correct
methodology as required to achieve the QA system concerned with the application
of the foundations and the corrective procedures to provide a healthy work
environment, compatible with all the environmental conditions.
Subject
Matters Of The Workshop
The
workshop includes several subject matters, notably: a general introduction to
the microbiological analyses of food, a general idea of ??microbial cultures
used to bacteria growing and identification of the modern devices to support
microbiological laboratories.
It
also involves advanced scientific methods and devices the microbiological
analyses including the devices dependent on self-fluorescence and energy
particles, the modern automated devices with its types and characteristics,
methods based on immune reactions, methods based on polymerase chain reaction technology,
and other subject matters that revolve around this topic relevant to Food
Science.
