Fraud Sophistication

Also, large amounts of vegetables and fruit were destroyed, through coordination between the municipality and market corporations, due to the commodities lack of validity for human consumption, because of the apparent decomposition from the source. These are estimated by 66 tons; the most prominent categories are mangoes by 22 tons, chilies by 22 tons, tomatoes by 9 tons, mandarins by 6 tons, potatoes by 5 tons and watermelons by 2 tons.

Fraud amounts have been destroyed, which is mostly represented in the ways of packaging these rotten vegetables and fruit by placing them in the bottom, while the good ones above, or by not putting the label that describes the specification of the number, the country and the type of product. Also, fraud happens through re-packaging and selling onions or potatoes as imported from foreign countries, while they are not.
