The Seeb Directorate to hold a service meeting with members of the Shoura Council in the province
The General Directorate for Seeb from the Muscat Municipality held a meeting recently with Shoura Council representatives from the Seeb province to review and discuss a number of matters related to municipal work and issues that serve citizens and residents. In attendance from the directorate was Dr. Ibrahim Bin Abdullah Al Rahbi, the general director of the Muscat Municipality in Seeb, in addition to several officials, engineers, and technicians.
A summary of the municipality’s current works and projects in Seeb was given during the meeting. The meeting also covered the progress of these works, looked into lighting and road projects within the province, and discussed the construction of entrances and exits to and from the Muscat highway and the Seeb public road.
Attendees also discussed obstacles to the progress of municipal work in Seeb, including: sewer drilling, apathy toward littering, mobile vendors and the unauthorized trash piles they create, in addition to unlicensed buildings.
Attendees then made a field visit to several sites in the province to better understand the progress of work on municipal projects, the obstacles they face, and proposed solutions to these obstacles. They also heard the demands of citizens related to speed bumps, public clean-up efforts, and other issues related to municipal work.
