Today: The Muscat Municipality in a digital system at Comex 2012

The Muscat Municipality Information Systems Administration will participate today in the twenty-second five day info-communication technology (ICT) exhibition and conference (Comex 2012) organized by the Oman International Trade and Exhibitions in cooperation with the Information Technology Authority under the slogan “Toward Creativity in Information and Communication Technology.” The municipality’s participation in these events came as part of its efforts to introduce its e-services to beneficiaries.
The municipality had a booth at the event where it described the electronic services it provides as well as its new telecom center -1111. It plans to hold workshops as part of the side events that accompany its presentation about the electronic building permits project and the electronic renewal of lease agreements, e-service locations, the iMuscat system, and other e-services.
Gifts, prizes, and handouts are distributed during the exhibition to visitors to the municipality’s booth. It is worth mentioning that the Information Systems Administration from the Muscat Municipality continued its participation in this year’s events as it endeavors to explain its electronic system, exchange experiences with other establishments, and benefit from digital experiments amidst electronic development.
