Muscat Municipality closes 10 restaurants and issues 24 bills during the night campaign.
The specialists in the health affairs department and health affairs circuits in the general municipalities in Muscat Municipality did a sudden night visits to (27) restaurants and (22) cafe shop and other activities that relates to the general health, in these visits they close (9) restaurants in the Khour district and a restaurant in El Sayeeb Market. in addition, they issued (24) bill for violations in order to enhance the health conditions in the district. They also destroyed (80) Kg of frozen meat that was unhealthy and (47) Kg of cooked and foods that was reserved with unhealthy method. in addition, they destroyed (35) Kg of expaied food materials, lot of tools, containers the restaurant used in cooking and it was unappropriated for use, they destroyed (25) piece of these tools.
This campaign was executing as the municipality seeks to raise the level of hygiene in the public relation facilities such as restaurants and cafes that deals directory with consumers.
The Muscat Municipality seeks the owners of restaurants and cafes to monitor closely their facilities and make sure ever personnel is adhered to the regulations and laws regarding food circulation.
