With the participation of 250 employee, Muscat Municipality intend to held the "Judicial Seizure" to provide some knowledge for the competent employees about their tasks and the possible risks of misuse of cards.

The planning and training department in Muscat Municipality in coordination with general prosecutor held "Judicial Seizure characteristics" program for (250 employees) authorized to execute the judicial seizure working in different directorates and units of Municipality. The program will last for 5 days. In the program, the instructors will consist of Mr. Ahmed Bin Saeid El Gohery, senior general prosecutor deputy, and Khaled Bin Mohammed El Saeedy, assistant of the legal study director in Muscat Municipality.
The program aim to provide knowledge for all employees about the Judicial Seizure in Muscat Municipality regarding the duties, employment tasks. In addition, to give them the awareness about their full competence, responsibilities and what should be carried out, concerning the legal procedures against the violators of laws, regulations and local rules applicable in state authorities.
During the program sessions, Mr. Ahmed El Gohery, senior general prosecutor deputy, assured that "the status of the state set forth an important principles for the judicial works, as article (21) stated that there shall not be established any crime or punishment unless by the law, also article (22) stated the principle the accused is innocent unless otherwise is proved in the court of law. These two articles provide all the necessary guarantees to practice the defense according to the law."
Mr. Ahmed El Gohery, author of (the penal prosecution for violating the state law) stated: "The Judicial Seizure Officer shall be aware of all the employment competences in cases of flagrante delicto or all inferences and execution of inspection works."
The instructor covered the nature of judicial seizure, what is consist of and other great goals. He also covered what the Omani penal code consist of, necessary guarantees for self defense, provided some details regarding the work, duties, competences of judicial seizure officer and the importance of the seizure report.
