Muscat municipality executes an awareness program in Seeb
Awareness and guidance office at the general directorate in Seeb executed a number of lectures and an awareness campaign at Alawael private school in Khoud and Alfoudhaila school in southern Mabilah around( the role of the municipality in the service of community ) as the lectures talked about the tasks and efforts of Muscat municipality and its serving role in the community and the specifications of the different circuits ,departments and services provided by theses circuits. Lectures talked about a number of problems and phenomena that represent and obsession and a challenge for the municipality with introducing a number of solutions suitable for facing these phenomena by the support of the community .
Program also included the execution of an awareness campaign, including the plantation of the agricultural seedlings in Mabilah, visiting the neighborhoods, educating individuals, encouraging them on the necessity of commitment to the discharge of waste in the allocated places for the sake of promoting awareness and hygiene concepts, its importance and role in promotion and progress of society, inducing the necessity of the coming together of local community institutions for moving towards a city known for hygiene and commitment to the right behaviors in dealing with all of the facilities and services of the city. Awareness leaflets and booklets have been given to the people and residents.
This program, which is executed by the general directorate of Muscat municipality in Seeb, is regarded as a supplement for the series of the awareness programs which present various information and activities that serve the community during this year.
