Muscat Municipality has recently been granted the award of excellence in customer service for year 2013 along with many associations of various sectors. Muscat Municipality awarded such prize as one of the best governmental sector associations in customer service administration.
Customer service in Muscat Municipality is considered as one of the leading systems that cope with modern developments as it established new services that fulfill needs, facilitate transactions and accelerate work frequency with flexibility and good quality in accordance with available techniques.
Municipality continues its great efforts in achieving satisfaction of customers, indicating the important role played by municipality in this field. Quality team and customer service improve the interaction with beneficiaries among the available methods with public and citizens. the most prominent methods are Muscat call center (1111), Muscat data center and Muscat municipality website that contains electronic services and packages and social networking websites such as Tweeter, Facebook, YouTube and other communication channels that meet the beneficiaries aspirations.
This award aims at attracting various sectors and associations in sultanate as well as searching for beneficiaries` satisfaction standards and used systems in each association in order to guarantee beneficiary satisfaction. This event continues for the second year successively since the Oman International Trade and Exhibitions (OITE) has established it in 2012.
