Muscat Municipality ends the Events of Bait Al-Baranda Summer 2013
The Events Included Various Creative Exhibitions and Participants Honoring

After busy weeks, sparkle and creative atmospheres and distinguished participation of students in art and creative works, the events and activities of summer of Bait Al-Baranda have recently been ended. This summer events are organized by Department of Information and External Relations of Muscat Municipality under the auspices of Sheikh Yahya bin Sulaiman Al Nadabi, deputy wali of Bausher and in presence of Sheikh Mansour bin Suleiman Al Nabhani, acting manager of external relations, parents of participants students, supervising teachers and regulators.
These events continued for two weeks and included various activities which touch desires and aspirations of target age groups.
The event program included speeches of regulators which highlighted the roles presented by Bait Al-Baranda for summer activities and events aspects of students talents accommodation and utilization of their times, then the sponsor of event and the attendees wandered between the halls of exhibition and they reviewed the most prominent program products of arts and creative works. The sponsor of event Sheikh, deputy wali of Bausher has honored the participants of supervising teachers and brilliant students in the activities as well as contributors.
The existing exhibition included various maquettes and art works of environment materials utilized and recycled as well as different programs including art of drawing, painting, decoration, cans recycling and maquettes industry with lights and various art forms.
Program of Bait Al-Baranda included establishment of art workshops for maquetts, acknowledgment of tools and methods of this art, reviewing some models and designs, how to make, form and paint such maquetts with watercolors and oil paintings and work of workshop of recycling and using of environmental materials. Number of participants of this summer reached 100 participants whether residents or newcomers. About one hundred and fifty works of maquetts, paintings and various works are executed other than medium and primary works.
The sponsor Sheikh Yahya bin Sulaiman Al Nadabi, deputy wali of Bausher stated that these summer sessions acquire participants many educational experiences, develop talents of children and youth, utilize their times in producing designs and creative arts, enable them knowing materials and tools used in art and how to use and prepare it and its preparation stages.
The works of the students who are fluent and creative in producing precise works have surprised us. The role of Muscat Municipality is to regulate this program and direct it in an honorable way. This program harmonized artistic programs with creative skills. We thank all for this regulation and effective participants.
Sheikh Mansour bin Suleiman Al Nabhani, acting manager of external relations emphasized that the Municipality perseveres on regulating such summer events for students annually, diversifies annual program in Rozmana of various programs and activities and provides opportunity to execute programs and practical workshops that help students to gain more experience added to their scientific life in schools. We thank god that the program has succeeded this year in planning these events, executing and following up their progress and directing them according to the plan.
Works of this program concentrated on utilization of environment materials, using them to accomplish artistic and economic works and utilizing the available materials well such as plastic cans and empty glass, lids, fabrics, hard drives (CD), paperboard and other used materials and recycle them to produce artistic forms and models and new and creative maquetts. The targets set out for these events are achieved through joint efforts and providing all needs to acquire participants additional doses of acknowledge and experiences.
