Muscat Municipality Executes programs if "technical reports" and "waste management"

The Administration of Planning and Training in Muscat Municipality has recently completed program of "preparing and writing the technical reports" where the program was executed on two phases, the first phase was in Arabic and the second was in English with participation of coordinators, technicians and engineers of various units and directorates of Muscat Municipality.
The programs aims to provide the participants with basic knowledge related to preparing the technical reports, their importance and its main role in work and the different phases of its preparation, enable them to use statistical data and graphs in reports and develop abilities of participants in effective presentation.
Elements:
The program address many elements within 25 hours. The most important elements are: what are the technical reports, their kind, their preparation approaches , their importance; requirements of technical reports; technical organization of reports with respect to form and subject; elements of successful technical reports and technical requirements of report. The reports contains items, the most important items are: dealing with data, forms, tables and symbols; collecting and classifying data and reports quality controls and the report also includes presentation of physiological factors in presentation of technical reports; methods of presentation and discussing and using audio and visual aids; requirements of good summary of technical report as well as information technology element and technical reports. The program includes intensive scientific applications as well.
Health Programs
The program of "home wastes management" and program of "integrated management of solid waste" of employees working in fields of health affairs and health sector in Municipality were executed in Al-Maha club where the second program of other group will be executed during 27-29 of the next August.
The program included an introduction concerning main concepts and terms of home wastes, setting wastes management plans , components of integrated management of solid waste, types of home wastes , collecting and sorting systems, wastes analysis, transportation services and its specifications, transmission plants and their types, disposal and treatment methods and industrial security and other elements that concern with wastes.
