Planning and Training management in Muscat municipality executes the program of "Scientific Research Methodology", Level One by the participation of 20 competent officials in the fields of dietary and health inspection in the different units and directorates of the municipality. The lecturer of the program over three days is Mrs. Taghreed , daughter of Mohamed Al Luwatiyah , from the department of health affairs .
The program aims at providing the participants with the basic knowledge, the terminology associated with the scientific research methodology and its importance and role in work, the different stages of it and the acquisition of scientific skills for planning the scientific research.
The program includes the concept of scientific research, its kinds, main steps for planning and preparation of research, basics of writing a research proposal and explanation of the basic methods for the collection and analysis of data and draw of conclusion.
