Muscat Municipality implements "preventing Driving" program for 100 of its employees.
The Department of Planning and training of Muscat Municipality continues the implementation of the intensive program "preventive driving" with the participation of (100) of the light vehicles drivers belonging to units and transport departments of various Directorates of Muscat Municipality where the program held about traffic safety. Participants were divided into six groups, morning and evening periods.
The program aims to familiarize participants with professional techniques in the art of safe driving, and take care for the necessary preventive measures when driving, and provide an opportunity for participants to gain experience and practical skills and scientific experiments for this operational Art .
The program includes driving on the road issue, this issue includes the definition of Preventive Driving, its objectives, the basic elements to work out, the risks of driving, and the causes of accidents. also on the issue of Driving Learning and elements of knowledge, experience and skill, the driver behavior, recognition of safety distance and the Base of Three Seconds for the Secure Distance. Moreover, adjusting the speed, identified vision, and surprises of the way, children and vehicles, the use of modern technologies and means of communication while driving, and driving in the volatile atmosphere and adversity climate.
