Muscat Municipality Got the Best Practice in the Electronic Participation at the Level of the Cooperation Council for Electronic Services.
Muscat Municipality has won at its participation in the award competition of Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States Award in field of electronic government services and its awards were distributed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates under the sponsorship of Chairman of Dubai Culture & Arts Authority HH Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Municipality won the competition that aims to create positive competition culture between the States of the Council, the matter that promotes the upgrading process of projects of the electronic government. Muscat Municipality achieved this winning in the session organized in Dubai due to its participation in the communication project with Muscat (Muscat Communication Center). This project is one of the two projects presented by the Municipality in the competition and one of them was about the electronic gate of Muscat Municipality.
