In the presence of numerous attendees and joy of the children, the second charity market at Bosher organized by the youth of the province is continuous in cooperation with Bosher Governor Office and Muscat Municipality under the slogan of “cooperation, giving and development” and a broad participation of the governmental and private entities. The market continues its fourth day with package of events and activities associated with the commercial tent that fixed on Jemaa el Sheikh Hilal bin Ali al-Khalili area next to the private university of Muscat and Bosher Sports Club. The Tent is opened daily to welcome the visitors from 9AM to 9 PM until 25 December.
Social Networking
Media Committee of the Market plays a significant role in following up the event by image and words through various means of media and social networking channels where the radio program “Fe Rehab El Masaa” prepared and presented by Khlfan El-Asemy devotes a time to cover the event and its contents.
Also, Oman Sultanate Television will visit the market this week to highlight the events and make a TV report in this regard.

Cleaning and Afforestation Campaigns
Among the Market events program, a campaign for cleaning the mosques and chapels at Bosher was executed yesterday morning in participation of various age categories of the youth and adults where the mosques and chapels were swept and windows, fans and air conditions and lighting were cleaned . The external halls were cleaned. Bathrooms were washed. The shelves of books of the holy Quran and libraries were cleaned. The chapels were perfumed with perfumes and incense.
At the night, a campaign was executed to plant trees in the area in cooperation with the General Directorate of Muscat Municipality at Bosher and Governor Office with participation of more than 50 students, their ages range between 10-18 years old. The participants planted Bosher garden, a number of areas and the vital interfaces of the seedlings, shrubs and flowers supplied by benefactor and Muscat Municipality. This activity is one of the efforts done to preserve the surrounding environment and expand the green areas to make the area characterized by beauty and attract the visitors and tourists.
Commercial Tent
The activities of the tent which includes different products continues with participation of more than 45 commercial shops including shops of children`s clothes, women`s clothes, shoes, women`s abayas, perfumes, fittings, accessories, Omani food, beverages, Omani sweets, snacks and household items, corners allocated for children, stationery, children`s educational toys, corner of Omani sweets, corner for sale of seedlings and flowers, and corner of home dishes in which the benefactors contribute. They are sold to the visitors and their return will be used to help needy families.
Solidarity
The Market gives the visitors the opportunity of communication and social solidarity and allows the civil and national community to participate in the charity and voluntary works through provision of funds allocated at the entrance of the Market for financial donations. The Charity Market aims to promote charity works and strengthen cooperation and solidarity links between individuals of the community to help the needy families, assist and support them. The Market receives the financial contributions, different dishes, food and sweets.
Cultural Activities
Among the events of the Market, a number of cultural events related to families and women are organized and held at Bosher Sports Club and Grass Khair Center. The most important events available to the public will be held at two periods, the first period will be from 9 AM to 4 Pm and the second period will be from 4 PM to 9 PM.
Yesterday, a lecture on health of woman was held by Dr. Rahma El-Ghabshia at hall of Bosher Sports Club where Dr. Rahma talked about the aspects of promotion of health of woman and the most prominent practices and health behaviors that woman should follow.
An event with title of “Discover the Treasure” also was held yesterday night which presented by Mrs. Zamzm El-Saltiah at hall of Grass Khair Center and the students of the schools participated in it.
Today, a session on “Children Treatment Art” will be held directly and it will be presented by Mr. Saeed at hall of Bosher Sports Club after Maghrib prayer where the invitation is available for public.
It is worth mentioning that the contributions achieved by the Charity Market in its first version of the last year and the great success were the motives for more giving to regulate the second market in a larger level with new contents, broad events and several community participations.
The organizing committee invites the public to visit this Market and its events to contribute, participate in the charity works and to spread the cooperation spirit and solidarity between individuals of the community.
