Muscat Municipality honors 500 employees in Bowsher in celebration of the International Workers` Day

Ibrahim Al-HusseinyMuscat Municipality celebrated recently with the International Workers` Day that corresponds the first of May every year. It also honored its workers in light of establishing the worker rights that the international laws and agreements guaranteed to human rights as an inalienable rights in life and development and one of its most important branches.
The Directorate General of Muscat Municipality prepared a program regarding this occasion in Bowsher. in the Ghala region. The celebration witnessed the presence of 500 workers from different sections and departments in public sanitation and health affairs, the sector of arts affairs of roads, maintenance and public services and the sector of transportation and guard. The program included making competitions in new style in harmony with traditions and habits of foreign workers as the competition is produced in the Indian language as most of the participants were talking this language. After the Competition, awards and gifts were distributed to winners.
The event included making Lunch, honoring all the participants, giving Thanks Letter and a Bouquet of Roses as a motivation to them and promoting to the efforts that these categories presents in civil service .
