Events of summer for children continues in Bait Al Baranda

Events of summer for children continues in Bait Al Baranda that is organized by Public Relation & Media Department in Muscat Municipality and continues till 24th of the current month with the participation and presence of all ages between 6 and 16 years old of males and females.
The program includes in its first week two workshops; the workshop of drawing with chalks, to be presented by Khaled Al Rawhy and Ali Al Hani`e and the workshop of buttons, to be presented by Atlal Al wahibya and Shaikha Al Ulwya.
In the first day, the number of participants in the workshop of drawing with chalks about 35 children. The workshop witnessed a significant interaction of the children in delightful artistic state, where the children started drawing with pencils to express what is in their minds of stories and imaginations and what they made of wonderful drawings by their hand. The levels of the children varied according to their ages and artistic skills, So the ranking was according to that. Everyone was taught based on his artistic abilities. In the second day, children started more advanced stage of drawings which is adding Gabrro material on drawings as it gives a special artistic effect to drawings. Afterwards, they move to the stage of coloring and finally their works will be put in a special gallery to immortalize their artistic works in Bait Al Baranda.
On the other hand, the workshop of button had great presence of the participants whose number was about 25 children. Children in this workshop made handcrafts with different buttons in color, button, and size. This is to make use of it by making the decoration of the house, accessories, decorating clothes, personal things, etc.
Children will design the drawings and decorations using plasters and boards by colored papers through cutting and folding it to form at the end a painting with delighting and beautiful colors.
