Muscat slaughterhouses ready for receiving sacrifices in two shifts

Muscat Municipality has completed preparations in the slaughterhouses to be ready for receiving the big number of sacrifices, activating the system ofreservation in advance in the central slaughterhouse of Bousher in the greater Barium as an experimental phase in slaughtering the Australian cattle.
Applying the system of the importing Australian cattle company, the booking system aims at reducing time spent by the slaughterhouse goers awaiting their turn, and overcoming the problem of crowd and pressure which accompany the greater barium. Such new system will be tested, and in case of success, it will be effectuated with extra measures in the future.
According to Shawqy al-Zedgaly, the new system will be activated from October3 to October7, so the beneficiaries should attend by themselves to the central slaughterhouse to reserve the sacrifice and pay the buying fees then receiving a receipt. After that, the customer should arrange with the company sacrifice delivery date within two days since the day of fees payment.
The importing Australian cattle company affirmed that the cattle slaughtering would be eight hours before the date of delivery and would then be saved in the slaughterhouses` refrigerators, noting that the morning shift starts at 8:00a.m to 1:00p.m, while the night shift starts at 8p.m to 11p.m. in addition, the Australian company pledged that sacrifice`s weight wouldn`t be less than 20 kilograms, adding that the slaughterhouses` management would provide the process with veterinary examination, and general supervision.
Meanwhile, the slaughterhouses manager stressed such new system targets overcoming the problem of crowd in the area of the cattle entry, organizing the mechanism of slaughtering, and facilitating the process of transporting the sacrifices from the stockade to the slaughterhouses. He added that the new system also ensures better quality of the meat by saving it in the refrigerator eight hours before the delivery date.
Cooperation with the charity associations
According to shawqy al-Zedgaly, the municipality cooperated with the charity associations in the field of sacrifices slaughtering and delivering it for the worthy people in accordance with pre-prepared list. He noted that such attempt began since several years, and was under the evaluation in a bid to overcoming obstacles and treating negative points, which makes the process this year more accurate and organized after upgrading, in addition, it helps delivering the sacrifices to the worthy people and reducing the crowd as well.
Working time of the slaughterhouses
Bousher slaughterhouse works from 6:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m, Efforts are being exerted to get it works in night shift. The transporting slaughter in Saib starts working from 7:00a.m to 1:00p.m in the morning shift, and from 4:00p.m to 8:00p.m in the night shift.
Muscat municipality voiced on all beneficiaries to slaughter in the municipality slaughterhouses to get healthy meat had been undergone veterinary examination and to protect people from being infected with different cattle diseases, noting people has right to exchange the sacrifice in case of disease discovery against no fees. The municipality also stressed the necessity of following healthy ways in getting rid of sacrifices` remnants to maintain the environment clean.
