Muscat Municipality to discuss ways of developing Remal Bousher zone, alternatives for speed breakers
In the meeting hall of Darseet, the Municipal Council of Muscat will hold Thursday its ninth meeting of its first stage under the chairmanship of Mohsen bin Mohamed al-Shaikh, head of Muscat Municipality.
In the presence of council members and the Omani Authority for Charity, the meeting will tackle number of topics including revealing civil defense certificate when renewing leases of multi-storey buildings and commercial complexes, , and hiring guards for the multi-storey buildings by the virtue of item (y) from the clause number 31 included in the local order number (92\23) that organizes buildings in Muscat governorate. Finding suitable alternatives for speed breakers, studying a draft for investment list in Muscat Municipality, and discussing matter of developing Remal Bousher zone are topics to top the eighth session of the meeting.
In the sixth session, the council will check out recommendations of the committee of healthy, social, and environmental affairs around mechanism of treating sewage overflow, while in the third session, the council will review other recommendations provided by the legal committee about a project evaluating damages affect trees and plants related to Muscat municipality. Project of fining local orders violators will be among discussions of the meetings.
In a related context, the meeting will demonstrate a statement of Omani Authority for Charity around its works and efforts in the charity field on both local and external level. Finally, the council will check out letters delivered from governmental institutions and bodies.
