Muscat Municipality checks statement of Omani charity authority, approves number of recommendations

Municipal Council of Muscat governorate approved number of recommendations suggested in its first session of its eighth meeting in the second year of its first stage that was held under the chairmanship of Municipality head Mohsen ben Mohamed al-Shaiekh.
In the presence of council members, the Omani Public Authority for Charity delivered a speech about its exerted efforts in the field of relief aids on both internal and external level. Then, the council explained some remarks on programs presented by the authority, in a bid to raise the work efficiency level.
On the sidelines of the meetings, the municipal council discussed recommendations of public affairs committee, while In its eighth and ninth meetings, the roundtable sides tackled the possibility of revealing the civil defense certificate when renewing the leases of residential and commercial complex and studied different topics, including hiring guards, suitable alternatives for speed breakers, ways to develop Remal Bousher zone, and a draft for investment list in Muscat Municipality.
In its third meeting, the council approved suggestions of legal committee around a project evaluating road accidents damages that affect trees and plants of Muscat Municipality, and another project about forcing fines in case of local orders violation.
The council demonstrated the demand of Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC) to increase number of taxicabs in the International Muscat Airport, and referred topics of draft of contract between the OAMC and taxicabs drivers in Muscat airport, draft of violations committed by drivers, and ways to prevent outer taxis from transporting passengers from Muscat Airport to the legal committee.
