MUSCAT MUNICIPALITY SEIZES TONS OF SPOILED FOODS AT AL AMERAT

CLOSES THE STORE IMMEDIATELY
The specialists in Department of Health Affairs at Directorate General of Muscat Municipality seized about 1000 kg of expired foods in coordination with the competent authorities. These expired foods has been seized in a house inhabited by number of expiate labors in Al Mahg North region, as such labors uses the house in storing large amounts of foods in environment contradicts with the applied health requirements, sing methods of storage and circumstance not appropriate healthily, in addition of being inedible.
The legal procedures regarding this situation have been implemented through closing the store used in the house for storage and spoiling the seized foods.
