REVIEW ON RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS NAMES OF BOUSHAR AND AL SEEB,
NAMES OF AL AMERAT STREETS, AND SUGGESTION TO NAME AL AMERAT STREET AS BOUSHAR
The Public Affairs Committee of the Municipal Council of Muscat Governorate held its tenth meeting at the second year of the first period under presidency of His Excellency/ Malik bin Hilal Al Yahmadi, the chairman in presence of the committee members, representative of Geographic Information Systems Department in Muscat Municipality, and number of members of Municipal Affairs Committees in Boushar, Al Seeb, and Al Amerat provinces. The names of the residential districts of Boushar and Al Seeb provinces have been discussed through professional consultant specialized in setting new systems for naming. The Committee has discussed the suggestion made by Committee of Municipal Affairs at Al Amerat provinces in addition to naming Al Amerat Street as Boushar.
After hearing the opinions of members, the committee recommendation was to refer these two subjects to committees of Municipal Affairs in Muscat Governorate provinces, and get support of Department of Geographic Information Systems at Muscat Municipality to review the study prepared by the consultation company in this regard.
