Muscat Municipality Concludes "Crisis Management" Program

Muscat Municipality recently concluded the training program "Crisis Management" organized by the Municipality in cooperation with Al Raee For Training Services that targeted Departments heads, heads assistants, and divisions heads and similar categories.
The International Instructor Hamid Al Hana`y tackled several themes and the most prominent are the main notions of crisis management, crisis phases, methods of crisis management, preventive strategies in addition to informing the participants with crisis analysis matrix, risks assessment, and skills needed to face difficult situations. The program also tackled business crises, and crisis communication management. The instructor provided guidlines regarding the role of establishment in its relation with mass media within the crisis.
The four-day program aimed at informing the participants with main notions of crisis management, knowing the main characterisitics of crisis, its life cycle, reasons of its occurence in addition to informing the participants with standard strategies to manage the crisis and enable them to face difficult situations through studied scientific manner.
This program is one of training programs implemented by Muscat Municipality to its employees to improve necessary managerial skills, make them have more knowledge, enable them to find the reasons of the crisis, identify and face the same effectively to decrease its negative impacts and use its positive results to promote the administrative cadres and improve the practical performance level.
