National Program presented by the Employees
Muscat Municipality Celebrates the 44th Anniversary of Oman National Day

Muscat Municipality held a special celebration on the occasion of the 44th Oman National Day with variety of national programs that harmony with the audience came from several direcotrates and units of the Municipality under the slogan to "My Gratitude to My Homeland and My Sultan" at the headquarters of the Municiplaity at Darseet, and the cermony began with a walk within the municipal premises. The audience was headed by his Excellency Eng. Mohsen bin Mohammed Al Shiekh, President of Muscat Municipality and other leading officials in addition to employees of the Municipality, school students, and folkloric arts band that enchanted national rythems and loyality concepts, that is followed by enchanting the national anthem by all attendants.


His Excellency Engineer Mohsin bin Mohammed Sheikh President of Muscat Municipality, the patron of the event had a speech in which he expressed his feelings of loyalty and gratitude to the builder of Oman and its leader, His Royal Highness Sultan Qaboos bin Said, may Allah protect him and bring him back full of health and wellness, where His Excellency said in his speech: "Through the past years we used to see the leader of development and construction march, the man of this nation, promoter of omanization and sense of belonging in oman`s sons and daughters, establisher of modern state foundations with all its authorities, the state of justice ad law, we used to see him participating with his glorious presence in this cherished occasion, but it is destined to be outside our homeland for the first time but his highness -may Allah protect him- insisted to be with us through his televisioned participation in the last 5th of November. We pray to Allah to heal our dear Sultan who is deeply loved and to bring him back to his homeland and kind and loyal people under Allah protection enjoting full health and wellness. May Allah protect His Highness Sultan Qaboos."


Shomoa Al Majd Band for folkloric arts enchanted several pieces of traditional artisitc rythems as arts of Azee, Razha, and Maidan. The cermony presented by Employee Fatimah Al Fazariah included number of national songs and shows of Omani arts. The poet Rehab Al Saaadiah an employee in Muscat Municipality a national poem in the love of our homeland and its faithful leader. While Darseet Elementary School (5-10) and Al Taloq Private School participated with several shows and singing and artistic sketches to express loyality and gratitude to this generous homeland. Thereafter, Employee Saaed Al Hana`y presented a prayer to the royal highness asking Allah to bestow upon him full health, wellness, and long life, protect this country and be in continous security, safety, welfare, and stability.
