Muscat Municipality Concludes "Leader Consultant" Program
Muscat Municipality concluded the training program "Leader Consultant" which is prepared in cooperation with Rakaz Global Consultation and Training with the participation of 18 participants of directors general, their assistants, and director of the municipal departments and units, for five days in Best Western Hotel in Al Khuwair.
The program presented by Consultant Dr. Hamad Al Sakr tackled modern leading concepts leads to creation of future and formulation of organizations system including therein number of issues relevant to High level scientific and professional methodology, where the training program enclosed four major themes emerges thereof number of sub-themes. These major themes are mechanisms and dimensions of strategic thinking, methodologies of thinking and change, contemporary government performance strategies, and development leadership and creation of future.
The program also included several scientific tools and methods needed by every organization to establish organizational work with high efficency and effectiveness. The program used interaction in training, practical exercises, lectures, guided discussions, different case studies, taking surveys and team works and other methods that targeted training the participates to use strategic thinking skills, development and change requirements, and toos of creation Future thinking.
The importance of this training program is highlighted in simulating the accelerated manner of variables that the world is witnessing at all aspects and levels. This requires officials who are fully aware with the same and keep up through knowledge of strategic management and its requirements, understanding of the processes of change and its management, knowing contemporary trends to improve government performance to reach the preception of successful leadership in real through following modern methodologies, using effective tools, preserving national gains, and moving to the future with vision full of successes.
