Muscat Municipality Arrests and expatriate laborers cook and store foods illegally in Al Seeb
The specialists at the Directorate General of Muscat Municipality in Al Seeb in coordination with the competent authorities arrested expatriate laborers cook meals in a residential house in Al Khawd Region and uses the corridors and chambers of the house to store food commodities illegally without following the least requirements of health and safety.
It was found that the laborers cooks meals provided to employees in a company without take into consideration the health requirements and storing quantities of foods all around the rooms of the house in an environmet violates applicable health requirements and inappropriate health conditions. The preparation of foods and cooking processes takes place at the house hall in worj pots where the cooked meals then transfered by private car to the beneficiaries.
The Municipality took immediate legal action against this situation by filing a record on the incident and damaging of the seized foods and tools used in cooking.
