The Committee of Muscat Festival 2015 Approves number of new events
The Main Organization Committee of the Muscat Festival 2015 approved the most important events, activities, and programs will be included in the festival at its next session during the second meeting of the Committee under the chairmanship of HE Engineer Mohsin bin Mohammed Al Sheikh Chairman of Muscat Municipality and Chairman of the Committee, in the presence of members of the Municipal officials and representatives of a number of concerned governmental bodies.
The new session of Muscat Festival is full of new various events that attract the attention of different community segments. The committee approved presenting the Ice Village, and Dinosaurs Village as well as other events like Heritage Village, Family Village, Fireworks Shows, Sound and Light shows, Pictures, Dazzling Laser Shows, and Tour of Oman at its sixth session. In addition, the festival includes sports and beach events, and concerts for elite of the Omani artists, international plays for children as well as electric games, trade exhibition, and entertainment shows.
Theatres & courtyards of Al Naseem and Amerat Parks Also as witness a variety of events such as aerobatics shows, cartoon characters, fire and swing shows, and Pentagon Death Wheel. Al Amerat park will host contributions of government bodies where pavilions has been allocated for Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), the National Center for Statistics and Information, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to execute of the exhibition of dates, the Public prosecution and the Ministry of Tourism, in addition to pavilions of small and medium organizations.
And the festival attracts at its next session group of leading Omani and Arab thinkers, intellectuals, and writers. The events are various as there are cultural and poetic evenings, intellectual lectures, and on air artistic shows to the audience in adidition to exhibitions such as Omani Documents Exhibition, Astronomy Exhibition, Innovators Exhibition, Photographs Exhibition, and Sculptors Forum In addition to specialized exhibitions such as the Mobile Exhibition which is executed by Centre for Scientific Research and the International Exhibition for the Crafts and Traditional Arts and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Exhibition and Carpet Exhibition, Gold Exhibition, Industrial Products and Consumer Exhibition.
The Main Committee will hold a press conference before the launch of the festival focuses on the details of events, locations and time periods and current preparations of this event.
