Muscat Municipality Executes Training Courses of "Agricultural Machinery" and "Excel"
Muscat Municipality executed during this week two training courses within its training plan for this year involving therein 55 employees from various units and directorates over four days.
Earlier this week, the training program of agricultural machinery and methods of use and maintenance ogram has been launched in "Holiday Inn" hotel in cooperation with the Knowledge Oasis. The Four-day training program targeted 21 participants of workers in the field of agriculture in Muscat Municipality.
The importance of the program provided by Prof. Sami Younis indicated in introducing types of agricultural machinery, its main parts, and purposes of use to the trainees in addition to providing them with skills of configuring and operating as well as teaching them to maintain the methods of maintaining agricultural machines through periodic maintenance programs.
The program aims to give trainees many general skills and cognitive skills as knowing the parts and functions of these machines for proper operation and conditions in addition to identifying ways of writing technical reports and communicate with team works.
In addition to giving them professional and mental skills such as: The right choice for agricultural machinery and diagnose faults and choose the appropriate operating method and evaluate the technical condition of the machines.
Also Planning and Training Department executed "Excel" program in cooperation with the Renaissance Training Institute with the participation of 34 employees of the various units and directorates of Muscat Municipality, where the program will be held in two groups and will last for four days. During such training the basic concepts of the Excel program, its contents, and methods of data processing are introduced to the participants, in addition to acquiring them with the practical application skills and develop their performance in advanced accounting formulas, charts axis, subtotals, conditional formatting, filtering axis using advanced options, and the course included number of axises like 3D programs and verification of data, and methods of protecting the file, the sheet, the workbook, and the other axes.
