The Municipal Council of Muscat holds on Monday morning its first meeting of the third year, in the first period to discuss a number of topics on the agenda of its works, including the recommendations that the Health, Social and Environmental Affairs Committee put forward at its ninth meeting concerning the programs and services required for the elderly and combating the spread of malaria in Muscat.
The meeting will be chaired by H.E. Eng. Mohsen bin Muhammed Al-Sheikh, Chairman of Muscat Municipality and Chairman of the Municipal Council, in the presence of the members of the Municipal Council and the participation of the Ministry of Sports Affairs that will provide a statement to members about the ministry`s efforts in the field of sports.
During the meeting, the Council members will also consider a number of letters received by the Council regarding a number of topics, including changing the name Seeh Moghit to "Al-Rehab District", business plans to be executed in Muscat, organizing the work of taxis at Muscat International Airport and audition service offices in the regions of Muscat. The Council will also discuss the commitments given by Haya Water on the project of establishing a wastewater plant in Misfat.
