"Memory" by artist/ Mustafa Anlas in Al Baranda house of arts
Dr. Essam ben Ali Al Rawas - vice president of the general authority of crafts industry in holding an opening ceremony to the exhibition of the artist/ Mustafa Anlas on Monday. entitled "Memory" in Al Baranda house of arts.The exhibition includes around 40 paintings that represent great works of architectural Islamic designs that reflect multi-layered Arabic calligraphy which is the most recent styles of modern Arabic calligraphy invented by Mustafa Anlas in the last quarter of the twenty-first century. Artist Mustafa Anlas`s style relys on using the names of Allah and phrases from the holy Quran using 3D acrylic colors with different sizes and scales. The exhibition is open until nest thursday. This is the second exhibition by the artist in Muscat since 2009. The artist had overseas exhibitions; first of which is in Bremen 2007, then Hamburg 2008, then Istanbul 2010.
It`s noteworthy, artist Mustafa Anlas was born in Istanbul in 1965, moved to Frankfurt in 1999 and he still lives there till this day. The artist has a degree in philosophy.
