Beit Al Beranda hosted the 9th summer activites for kids. It goes on for 2 weeks and tonight (Wednesday) is the last day. The contribution of 125 kids aged from 6 - 10 years. The summer program organized by media and external affairs in Muscat municipality included a variety of educational artistic workshops conducted by a group of selected youth highly experienced in plastic art. The aim was to occupy the kids` time with doing something beneficial and enjoyable as well as to enrich their creative skills, increase their artistic abilities and make the best use out of the trainers` experience in the field of painting, sculpture and design.  

Beit Al Beranda was determined to host a variety of training workshops to enhance the level of activities presented to the gifted children. The summer program this year hosted cartoon drawing which was conducted by plastic artists Aneesa Al Muamrya and Dalal Al Souteya in which the children participated with fantastic drawings and coloring of cartoon characters. The talents of the children reflected on the designing of dolls in the workshop conducted by Kholoud Al Housnya and Summer Al Ra`eesya to teach children about the art of using cloth and doll making. Hand made clay art works were made by the children`s hands in a clay workshop conducted by Eesa Al Mafrgy, Mohamed Al Rashdy, Kholoud Al Sha`ebeya and Fayza Al Wahebeya.

Bait Al Beranda hosts an exhibition for the result art works made by participants starting next Tuesday. The exhibition will host their creative artwork during the summer program and there will be a ceremony to honor the participants in the presence of their parents.
