Chairman of Muscat Municipality inspects road projects

Recently, HE Eng/ Mohsen bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh Chairman of Muscat Municipality conducted field visits to a number of completed and ongoing road projects within his inspection visits around the city in order to follow up the work according to the technical standards and applicable requirements under the supervision of Eng/ Abdullah bin Mohammed al-Saadi, Director General of roads, in the presence of a number of officials, engineers and the projects contractors of the municipality.
Also, he visited Bowshar- Al-Amerate road, inspected the ongoing side protection works on this project which penetrates a steep mountains range with its varying curvatures, Al-Mahg bridges project of Al-Amerate which was completed in the end of last year, the development works of Sifah road of Muscat state , the roads and bridges projects that link between Muscat- Muscat international Airport road, as well as a number of entrances and exits Muscat Expressway, and the proposed sites for establishing filling stations and the services on Muscat Expressway.
His Excellency expressed many of technical notes, and the necessity for applying them in order to ensure the quality of implementation and expeditious completion.
