Muscat Municipality handles with Deep Groove observations
(Removing dust, waste and cleaning locations);
Muscat Municipality continues implementing the intensive hygiene campaign in order to treat the rain effects, remove waste and remnants caused by heavy rainfall and the flow of valleys and reefs caused by the deep groove, which affects the north provinces of the Sultanate during these days. The technical work teams launched immediately the cleaning services by removing dust, gravel and plankton, which are swept away by valleys and reefs in the streets with a view to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and the removal of the falling waste.
The field teams of the General Directorates of Muscat Municipality spread in all states of Bowsher, Qurayyat, Al-Amrate, Seeb, Muscat and Greater Muttrah to suck up water, puddles gatherings, the blockages in water drainage lines and systems in some main and branch roads, also they clean the residential neighborhoods, remove the sediment , mud, and the trees remnants from streets, neighborhoods and the residential areas. The states are provided with vehicles and heavy equipments to speed up the work, efforts, and restore the services to normal. The vehicles are distributed in all areas in order to carry the waste to the landfills by a healthy and safe way. The Municipality continues its work for cleaning up the residential neighborhoods, and sub-streets from trees remnants and rain waste.
On the other hand, the municipality handles with the observations that are received from citizens and residents through the contact centers of Muscat Municipality No. (1111) about the water gatherings in some areas. The working teams treat these observations and monitor the sites that are usually gather the rain water, the municipality calls all citizens and residents to exercise caution and report any observations relating to the municipal work in Muscat.
