The Al-Aamerat Team of Muscat Municipality Occupies the Runner-up in the 18th November Football Championship

The Al-Aamerat Team of Muscat Municipality has got the second rank in the November 18th Football Championship in its fifth edition, after losing the Penalty shoot-outs against the Fellowship fund Team (Sandooq Az’Zamala) of the Ministry of Agriculture (2-3) in the match held on the Shabab Al-Murtufat Stadium in Bousher under the patronage of Sheikh Badr Bin Salim Al-Mukhaini and in the presence of the chief executive of Bank of Beirut and a number of officials in Muscat municipality.
The tournament has had a strong competition between the 16 participating teams from various government institutions, including Muscat municipality. Muscat Municipality is proud that Qais bin Issa who was a player Al-Amerat municipality team, received the title of the tournament scorer.
Noteworthy, This tournament has been sponsored by Beirut bank, and is considered another success in conjunction with the Sultanate`s celebrations of the glorious National Day 47.
