A team to diagnose the phenomenon of tampering public utilities in Bousher
In order to preserve the sustainability of public utilities and to address some of the negative phenomena prevalent in the society, and to make legal controls in this regard, Muscat Municipality held a meeting on this regard on (Thursday) in cooperation with the State`s Municipal affairs committee and the Royal Oman Police.
During the meeting, Mr. Malik bin Hilal Al-Yahmadi, who is a member of the municipal council of Muscat Governorate, was chosen as the chairman of the team with the membership of: Director General of the General Directorate of Muscat Municipality or his representative, members of the Municipal Affairs Committee of the State and a number of some related representatives.
The group aims to follow up negative public hygiene phenomena and maintain facilities and service facilities in the various areas of the state such as parks, beaches, pedestrian corridors, residential and commercial neighbourhoods and other vital sites. The team will be accompanied by some police officersas well as a judicial seizure team from the General Directorate of Muscat Municipality. They are to follow up, monitor and control these phenomena and take legal action, based on Administrative Decision No. (55/2017) on the determination of administrative sanctions for violations of the Muscat municipality and to Local orders issued by the Municipal Council of Muscat Governorate and the municipal decisions in force in this field.
