Muscat Municipality issues 8795 building permits during 2017

The General Directorate of Technical Affairs in Muscat Municipality continued to intensify its efforts to improve the services provided to citizens in the various Wilayahs of Muscat. The Building Permits Administration issued (8795) licenses, including (4528) new building permits and (4267) 2017.
The total number of new and amended licenses issued for various uses was 4093, 46%, followed by Al Amirat (1948), 22%, and Bousher (1836), 21% and (513) 6%, and (405) licenses to Muscat and Mutrah by 5%.
The new residential use licenses came in at (83.17%), followed by the new commercial residential use licenses (9.46%) and industrial use licenses (3.57%).
The Municipality of Muscat provides a service for the issuance of building permits and the completion of transactions electronically through the municipality`s website on the World Wide Web and the application of my municipality available in smart phones; to facilitate the completion of transactions easily, and profitability, and self-available 24 hours.
