To facilitate the procedures and regulations, Muscat municipality issues the decision No. (1/2018) determining the fees and other finances insurances that the municipality obtain. The decision keeps up with the national strategy to serve the labour sector service development, and begins implementing the Regulations on1 February of this year.
A NATIONAL STRATEGY
A new preferential service has been also introduced for the first time in Muscat municipality which allows beneficiaries to complete transactions faster and in a short period of time by paying additional charges of (20%) of the value of the original fee with a minimum of 50 OMR . The decision also imposes a fine for late renewal of licenses, for every 30 days delay of payment of the renewal fee, which will double the fine every 30 days by (10%).
