Muscat municipality continues removing technical and health irregularities in Bousher
The general directorate of Muscat municipality in Bousher, represented by the legal follow up department, and in cooperation with the public prosecution administration of Muscat municipality cases and the ROP, continues its campaign to remove technical and health violations in the wilayah and was able to won about 25 juridical ruling in January and February. The municipality was able to impose fines against violators, commit them to remove violations at their own expense and cancel some of their municipal licenses.
Mr. Adnan bin Mohammad al-Kindi, an acting director of the legal follow-up department, confirmed that those abuses can be controlled by periodic inspection carried out by the same judicial seizure officers beside the cooperation of local citizens and residents in reporting such abuses. The number of irregularities reported last year was about 777 violations between health, administrative, and technical, and about 60% of them were terminated by a reconciliation and the rest were sent to the public prosecution.
