Muscat municipality awards the winners of the most beautiful photo contest for the international sporting event"Tour of Oman 2018"

Muscat municipality honored yesterday (Sunday) the winners of the electronic contest "the most beautiful photograph of the stages of Tour of Oman 2018" which was launched by the Muscat festival social account in Instagram, coinciding with the global sporting event of the tour of Oman 2018. The contest was sponsored by the patronage of Khalid bin Muhammad Behram, assistant chairman of Muscat municipality for the services affairs, and assistant chairman of the main committee organizing Muscat festival 2018. The contest was organized by the marketing and promotion committee of the Muscat Festival 2018 and sponsored by Ooredoo and in coordination with the Omani Society of photographing that has ruled the photos involved.
The contest aimed to highlight the beauty of Oman`s nature and the charming diverse geography of plains, Highlands, villages The total number of photos involved in the contest exceeded 100, the best six photos were selected at the rate of one winning picture for each stage.
Photographer Khalfan al Salhami won the best photo award for the first stage, while Hassan al-Gailani won the best photo for the second stage. Haitham al-Farsi won the third stage award and Majid Al Ameri for the fourth. Warrath al-Riyami won the best photo award for the fifth stage and Mohammed al-Qarni for the last stage.
The award ceremony was attended by both the Director-General of government relations and business affairs Raid bin Mohammed Dawood, and the chairman of the promotion committee of Muscat festival 2018 Mohammed bin Marhoon al-Abri, and chairman of the Sports Committee for Muscat Festival 2018, Salim bin Mubarak al-Hassani and the director first of digitial communications at the Ooredoo company Ahmed bin Abdullah al Hosani.
