Automatic gates to be installed at the park open simultaneously during visit hours
Muscat Municipality organizes the use of the parking lots at As`Sahwa park

In its quest to tackle random behaviors affecting the general appearance in the Wilayah, and in pursuit of the public interest, the General directorate of Muscat Municipality in As`Seeb decides to tow away the long-term vehicles left at As`Sahwa park within the prescribed time limit given to owners.
The municipality has put some warning stickers on vehicles that have been parked for long-term giving their owners a deadline that ends today. An automatic gates will be also installed at the park which will open automatically during the allowed visit hours. The park doors will be opened every day from 4 p.m. to 12 p.m., and on Fridays, Saturdays and official holidays from 9 a.m. to 12 at night.
The municipality decided to install the automatic gates as per the need to tackle the increasing number of abandoned vehicles that have been left for long time at the park. Those vehicle do distort the beauty of green landscapes and they are prone to accumulation of dust and dirt, besides the large space they use in the park. Some of those vehicles have hosted rodents and insects already.
