Muscat Municipality continues its service efforts in the municipal work
-Paving of 16,500 km internal roads covering many areas in the wilayah.
-A total of 1,331 new construction start-up transactions were completed during January 2017 to February 2018.
-1728 field visits to buildings under construction been made and 469 technical technical fines issued.

As part of Muscat municipality`s concern to organize and follow up the construction real estate in the governorate States, the Directorate General of Muscat Municipality in Bousher has implemented around (1728) inspection visits to the buildings under construction in the wilayah. The municipality intends to ensure that all requirements conform to the municipal licenses issued by the municipality and in accordance with the approved drawings.
These visits resulted in observing 469 fines, some of which are related to the cleanliness of the construction site and the technical specifications of the building under construction.
The number of buildings under construction in the wilayah has reached was 1230 by the end of 2017, while the number of new construction transactions completed was 161 transactions. In 2017 the construction start-up transactions was about 1203 transactions, with a certificate of completion with service requests (water, electricity and insurance), with the number of transactions registered with the section for the recovery of insurance in 2017 at approximately 3199.
The Technical Licensing Section also provides a number of services, including clearance services, applications for a building permit, requests for permission to demolish a building and requests land transfer permit, minor build-up, application for sun shades permits outside the plot boundary, request for permit to paint the exterior of the building, application for a swimming pool, work permit attached outside The main building within the boundaries of the widget, the request to change the contractor, the application for a site settlement license, and others.
