Muscat Communication Center celebrates its sixth anniversary since launch

Muscat contact center of Muscat municipality celebrated its 6th anniversary since first time launched. The center has been very active in receiving comments, complaints, and in providing info about Muscat municipality services.

Accomplishment

The call center has been able to obtain the ISO 9001:2015 after passing all the specifications of the international standards in ISO. The Contact Center has also won the best electronic service provided to the public within the Sultan Qaboos prize in e-government.
 

Numbers and Statistics

 The number of calls that were answered during the past three years was (270876) call, while (71510) of communications have been registered, and processing (71159), (99.51%) of which have been completed. The number of followers of the call center in "Twitter" was (391,000) compared to (374,000) end of last year. Whereas other social accounts: in Facebook (4473) and in Instagram (11,800) according to the latest update.

Communication platforms

Muscat Contact Center links between beneficiaries and Muscat municipality services through different channels starting from the toll free number (1111) and the e-mail (contactus@mm.gov.om) beside the 1111 Fax number.
There is also a special page for complaints or suggestions in Muscat municipality official website and its App on smart phones "Baladiyati". Beneficiaries can also visit the call center social networking sites on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
