Muscat municipality signs agreement to supply fuel for its fleet
- Providing (600) smart chip (E FILL) for municipality vehicles with modern technical specifications.
- Training of 50 employees of the municipality.
Muscat municipality signed on (Sunday) an agreement with Oman oil marketing company to supply fuel for municipality vehicles for five years. The agreement was signed by Muscat municipality chairman H.E Mohsin Ash`Sheikh Mohsen and by Oman oil marketing company David Khalifa/ The CEO of the company.
The agreement states that the company shall provide three types of fuel namely, (M95) (M91): and(diesel), throughout the duration of the contract i.e., for(5) years. The cost of this contract is to be determined based on the unit price and quantities supplied, which is calculated according to the price of a liter of fuel, which the Government determines per month, depending on the order quantity the municipality requires.
The company shall also provide (600) smart chip (E FILL) for municipality vehicles.The company will, based on this agreement trains municipality workers to use the Ejab system + E FILL annually for a number of (20)people, while ensuring training sessions for 50 people from the municipality of Muscat. ...
