Muscat municipality organizes a training program on "hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) for food establishments"

The department of human resources development in Muscat municipality organized a training programme entitled "hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) for food establishments, from (6-10) of May.
The programme which was lectured by both Mr. Ahmed ar`Raisi, assistant director of the environment health directorate and Mrs. Fatima al Mukhaini, a food Inspector at the general directorate of health affairs, aimed at introducing participants with the "HACCP" system (A preventive system for analysing hazards attacking safety of food).
Mrs. Al Mukhainiya explained that the training program will enable the participants to understand and apply the hazard analysis during the inspection and identification of the most important critical points that can cause harm to human health. The "HACCP" is a system of regulations adopted by international bodies as the best way to control the diseases arising from food, plus upgrading food inspection to be a preventive mean based on scientific and technical grounds.
