Muscat municipality organizes a training programme on professional ethics for an auditor
Muscat municipality has started its training programme "Professional ethics of an Auditor" which will last for four days from 27 to 30th of May 2018.
The prorgamme is conducted at the Municipality building in Ruwi and lectured by Dr. Abdulla Alimat. It aims at introducing trainees with the behavioral and ethical principles and standards which must be carried out by auditors.
Mr. Sultan al Shaiey, director of Human resources department, said that business ethics courses is an important course given to auditors. Th internal audit function requires some high cognitive and technical skills and the ability to research and analysis. Such qualities should be present in an auditor.
It is worth to mention that professional ethics are of great impact in guiding individuals. They not only stimulate auditors to work, but also to employ a moral basis when conducting the work.
